A Very Suburb Pat Christmas

It's that time of year again. Christmas is a few weeks away, shopping season is in full effect. Dish Network has added holiday music channels to the TV ticker. While I was in China I complied a Christmas music playlist from all of my family's old Christmas cds and songs from the web. I couldn't put it up on the webs, thanks to the Great Firewall of China. Last year at Christmastime I complied my ten favorite Christmas movie (you can read that here,) now here's my Christmas compilation aptly named A Very Suburb Pat Christmas:

  1. Christmas Story (The Meaning of Christmas) from A Charlie Brown Christmas
  2. All I Want for Christmas is You - My Chemical Romance
  3. Silent Night (Acapella) - Boys II Men
  4. Christmas In Hollis - Run DMC
  5. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Mel Torme
  6. You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch*
  7. Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - The Raveonettes
  8. Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Bruce Springsteen
  9. The Chanukah Song - Adam Sandler
  10. Here Comes Santa Claus - Gene Autry
  11. Last Christmas - Wham!
  12. Mele Kalikimaka - Bing Crosby
  13. Happy X-Mas (War is Over) - John and Yoko
  14. All Alone On Christmas - Darlene Love
  15. Wonderful Christmastime - Paul McCartney
  16. Christmas is All Around from Love Actually - Bill Nighy
  17. Wassail Song - Ralph Vaughan Williams
  18. Christmas With the Devil - Spinal Tap
  19. Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight) - The Ramones
  20. The Chanukah Song Part II - Adam Sandler
  21. Let It Snow  - Michael Buble
  22. Hallelujah Chorus - George Fridric Handel

I love this playlist, each song is different than the song before it. It's a very eclectic song list, with a little of every thing (rock, rap, jazz, r&b,  classics, and pop). You can get the entire playlist here.

*Interestingly You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch is not sung by Boris Karloff, it was actually sung by Thurl Ravenscroft. That's the man's real name; he's got the name of a Harry Potter character or a Lord of the Rings character.
