My Weekend Crush

This weekend, the choice was perfectly easy and did not take me by surprise. I had been anticipating the release of Juno ever since I saw the trailer during an early screening of No Country for Old Men. Ellen Page caught my eye with her cuteness from the the first second and I eagerly waited to see the film. She was awesome in Hard Candy and a welcome addition to the X-Men franchise, so I couldn't wait for Juno. I got a chance to see it yesterday afternoon and I was not disappointed. Juno was one of the best movie going experiences I have ever had, and I owe that to Ellen Page's performance. Her next movie is called Jack & Diane... and I cannot begin to describe the plot...I will leave that to the official plot synopsis:

Jack and Diane, two teenage lesbians, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane’s charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack’s tough skinned heart. But, when Jack discovers that Diane is leaving the country in a week she tries to push her away. Diane must struggle to keep their love alive while hiding the secret that her newly awakened sexual desire occasionally turns her into a werewolf.

Could this possibly be the greatest werewolf film ever.......I dare say so.

My Weekend Crush

I was completely satisfied when I finished watching SCI-FI channel's latest miniseries Tin Man. It may have something to do with my crush for this weekend, Kathleen Robertson, who played the awesome villainess ruler of the O.Z. Azkadellia. It was great, Zooey Deschanel played a modern-day Dorothy Gale and Alan Cumming played Glitch, a man missing his brain...good stuff...Enjoy the pretty woman's parts my little pretties.

My Weekend Crush

I've finally
gotten over my fear of statutory rape and decided to do my weekend crush on Hayden Panettiere. The reason why I haven't done what other people would consider the obvious choice and gone with her is because up until very recently she was under age (The end of August to be exact). And, for the longest time, whenever I saw her, all I could think about was how cute she was in Remember the Titans...and I would begin to scream violently. I was able to watch her on Heroes through my fingers for a while; now that she's legal and enough time has passed by, I can safely talk about her...without fear of being a pedophile. (Hey, I was eighteen two years ago...) So here's Hayden....Pane(or however-the-hell you spell her last name)...I'm going to hell, I just know it. Don't stare too long now, boys, you'll get sucked into the gutter...oh what the hell am I saying, we're all going to hell...might as well enjoy ourselves on the way down.

My Weekend Crush Double Feature

I've been uber busy for the past two weeks so my blog has been pretty barren for a fortnight. To make up for lack of posting, here's a double feature...featuring G4's Morgan Webb and Law and Order: CI's Alicia Witt. Enjoy
